History
Oggioni – Delta Erre Safe is an Italian company founded in 1990 that has been offering fire, gas and intrusion safety solutions for more than 30 years in both the civil and industrial sectors.
After developing and manufacturing solutions for a number of prestigious international brands for many years, the company joined DEF Network, an international network of companies experienced in fire safety, in 2004.
Over the years, the company has specialized in the development and production of certified products for installation on EN54 systems, the European standard for fire systems. This certification has allowed the company to enter new markets and ensure compliance with the most stringent safety regulations. Thanks to constant research and development efforts, the company has introduced products onto the market characterized by high efficiency and reliability.
In 2023 Delta Erre Safe incorporated Oggioni Srl which boasts many years of experience in the field of supplying sensors for gas detection and Fire & Gas safety systems for leading Italian and foreign companies.
The company has thus expanded its product portfolio to include advanced sensors and control units capable of constantly monitoring the environment and promptly reporting the presence of toxic or flammable gases, guaranteeing maximum safety in the workplace. Our products have obtained ATEX (ATmosphères EXplosives) certifications to operate in environments with potential explosive atmospheres and SIL2 (Safety Integrity Level) to guarantee a high level of functional safety of its products.

More than 50 years of history…
1958 DEF, established in 1958 in France and headed by Philippe Lécuyer, is now among the major international players in fire safety.
’70s – ’80s In the 1970s, the use of integrated circuits enabled the company to grow strongly, becoming the leading French manufacturer in fire detection during the 1980s (microprocessors became an integral part of the new ranges and the DEF addressing system became a real standard in the industry).
’90s During the 1990s, DEF was recognized as a leading group in high-tech applications, and the interactive Vega range, full of new features dedicated to maintenance service, brought the company an international reputation.
TODAY DEF establishes itself as an international provider of Security Systems Solutions and Services.
